Wednesday was Noah's birthday and we had dinner with his parents at Lucca on the outside patio. Dinner in front of the fireplace was amazing as expected. With the night still young and no work the next day we hit K street to check out the new Dive Bar. Now, when I hear dive bar I think no frills, hole in the wall bar where bowls of pretzels and peanuts flow the cheap beer on tap. Dive bar is a dark, trendy, tourist spot with a giant fish tank above the bar. I took a couple videos with my iPhone of the mermaid swimming around and waving and smiling at the customers. From my understanding she comes out for a swim every 20 minutes. It was a bit kitschy in my opinion, one of those things you only need to see once. The salt water fish that accompanied the tank with the mermaid were super entertaining, but I have a thing for fish ;)
